Job Title: Associate Veterinarian, Surgery Specialist
Time with ACD: Since 2023

About Me: I earned my veterinary degree from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2019. Following graduation, I was an emergency/surgery intern with MedVet then completed a surgery internship with Veterinary Orthopedic Services/Granite Veterinary Specialists. I chose a career in Veterinary Medicine to become the voice for the voiceless and to support the human animal bond. My primary role for Animal Care Daybreak is Surgery Specialists performing a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. I also have a love for emergency and shelter medicine. It is my goal to ease the suffering of pets, alleviate pain, and improve their quality of life.

Hobbies and Fun Facts:  I am an east coast transplant who moved to Utah for the mountains in 2016. Outside of work I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, traveling, and basically anything outdoors. My husband and I are blessed with three “human kids” (Jude, Desmond, and Beckett who was just born in April 2025), four dogs, and one cat. I have a traveling surgery business which partners with local animal shelters to help rescue pets with their specialty surgery needs.
